TITLE WRONG AND CAN'T CHANGE IT, SHOULD BE F2 PC25 AND F3 ignition the same?

I'm pretty sure I asked this a couple of days ago in another thread of mine but got no answers so hopefully I "will to this. I have found a lock set from an F3 with both keys but need to know if the F2 and F3 ignitions are the same and if they are coded to the CDI control units if they are do I need the CDI control unit from the F3 with the ignition or will mine be usable with the replacement ignition? Answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks

 

F2 doesn’t have security circuit.
F3 does have security circuit.

You can use F3 ign-switch with F2 ignitor.
You cannot use F2 ign-switch with F3 ignitor.

You’re welcome! If pin-outs on connector doesn’t line up, we can de-pin and re-insert into working positions.
