Yea' you should not have any major problems, I had trouble with the CCT around 12,000 miles and I just replaced it with a mechanical one and the rectifier/regulator went out around 60,000 miles and right after that I had trouble with the vacuum petcock. You may not have to worry about any of the spark plugs blowing out but I do know of one other f-3 it happened to at around 50,000 miles. The plug treads are really delacate more so than in other bikes I've had.

Both run great.

 

I just bought a 94 last night, with 41, almost 42k miles on it.....its a little rough, but its still a cbr600....runs good....

Last Jul (2008) I bought a 93 F2 with about 59,500 km (37,185 miles). The previous owner had to sell due to loss of license for too much speeding, and because he couldn't diagnose a regulator/rectifier problem. Engine runs great (checked by local shop) after new regulator. Have over 62,000 km (38,750 miles) and just out for the first time this year. As far as I can tell, no rebuilds and mileage was accurate.

 

1994 F2 original as far as I know, on motul synthetic since break in good compression 43,000Km No issues other than the ones we all know about. Great bike and versitile, excellent value. I'm thinking that this thing should be good for 65-75,000Km. I'd still like a VFR though.

 

1992 F2 originally raced for first 17K, now has 39,250 miles on original engine/trans. runs great

not to mention i have a buddy with a 2000 Yamaha FZ1 with 82,000 on it, he had it since 1 mile, runs perfect. contrary to popular belief if u regularly maintain these bikes, they will run for a LONG time
