I tried searching around, but I couldn't find this being done (I didnt search much...) but here it goes:

I'm sure everyone riding an F2 has been approached or talked to about "such an old bike", or "how many miles are on it" or what have you. I know I have. And then they go off on a need to tell me that these old 600's arent good for more then 20000miles.

I'm wondering: What sort of mileage is on your bike? So, to participate, please list your bikes year, mileage in miles or kilometers, and if its the original engine / any other info. I'm curious to see where everyone's "ancient" bikes are sitting.

I'll go first:

1994, Original engine (I believe... although upon inspection a lot of the components do not have 15 years worth of dust/dirt/debris normally found in nooks and crannys, so I'm wondering)

53000kms = 35,000 miles

 

3x,000 KM's, cant remember the exact figure on the odo.

Engine is being rebuilt right now (it really doesn't need it, but I tend to go overboard on things)

 

1994, all original engine, 27880 miles

 

93 cbr600 orginal motor/tranny, 15,4XX miles.

 

1991 f2 all original with 54500km roughly all depends how well you look after it.

 

title says 56,xxxx,
odo says 37,810

miles dont scare me lol
and if it dies all we have to do is save $200 and buy a nother motor

 

1994, engine is all original, got about 16,500 miles on it....haven't run into any problems yet...

 

my 92 f2 had 41k miles on it when the odo stopped working. This mother****er is a trooper.

** 32,000 Original miles on OG motor.

** Went riding the other day and hit 120mph and still had one more gear to go!!

 

32,000 miles and runs just as good as it ever did.
