Does anybody know what the dimensional differences are between a 1998 CBR F3 FRONT wheel and a 1991-94 F2 FRONT wheel?

I know the F3 has different brakes, is there a different rotor bolt pattern?

Is the front wheel hub any different?

I am not asking because I am putting an F3 wheel on an F2, I am asking because I am putting an F3 wheel on a motard and I know how to put an F2 wheel on.

So I need to know if the F3 wheel will go on the same way as the F2 wheel, or if I need to machine it differently.

F3 wheel is completely different and had a different rotor bolt pattern and IIRC is about half inch wider at the tire. I don't know if it is wider at the forks though.

Parts from front end F2 and F3 are not interchangeable. if you want to change anything, you need to do it all.

 

Like I said, I'm not putting F3 parts on an F2, I'm putting them on a motard (dirtbike with street tires).

Both F3 and F2 wheels take 120/60 ZR17 tires.

The only notable difference I can imagine would be the rotor mounting bolts.

Info I'm interested in would be axle size, bearing sizes, rotor to rotor width, that kind of thing.

 

I would ask in the F3 forum they would be the ones to know the best.
