When does it blow the main fuse? How long is the battery in before it blows it?

I had a lot of problems with my charging system.

- check rectifier
- check stator

-check wiring harnesses and all wires...make sure all are working right.

to know for sure take the bike to a mechanic and let them test the whole system

if your rectifier is bad it can affect your stator and vice versa.... best to get the whole system tested by a good mechanic

If your installing a new battery, and your filling the electrolyte yourself, make sure you give the battery a good initial charge before popping it into the bike. If you don't, your electrical system will go into overload trying to charge the battery. Like the others said before me, it would be best to test your electrical system out.

Also check you wiring harness for burned connectors, around the rectifier and also believe it or not the headlight connection too. I have seen 3 F2's, including my own melt the headlight connector because the rectifier over charged everything. Your blowing fuses, that usually means a short.
