Default Desperately need some help!

Ok, so Im putting my shifter back on.....and after I intalled it...the neutral light will not come on....and whenI think its in neutral it will click back into gear. The only thing that I can see it being is the position of the little peice the shift rod connects too...it has one bold on it and is at the end of the shift rod....the bike shifted perfectly before and hasnt been riden since so I couldnt see it being a tranny problem...if someone could take a pic. of this peice on there bike soI can position it correctly it would be much appreciated. Also any other ideas I need all the help I can get! Thanks.

might also want to make sure that you didnt put the shifter back upside down (gp) turn the shift sequence to 1up 5 down. where you think neutral is might be 5th if you did

I dont think so but that may be the case....but even then why would it roll for a foot or so without the clutch in and then click into gear?
