no i never got them but my account was messed up for a while but i think that i have a pretty good grip on it now..
it wasnt really that hard plus i found your other thread where you described what it took and i used that for help.. but the motor is in, mounts are made all that i have to do now is weld in the lower rear mounts on and i am good to go!!! thanks for offering your # too..
have you ran it yet at all??? how fast is it if you have??[sm=gears.gif] i am trying to get it done this week so that i can get it to the track and get a baseline..then decide if i want NOS or not.

i have not dynoed the 98 motor yet. when i had the 96 motor in it i hit 129hp on the dyno. not bad for a bone stock motor. that was with an exhaust and jetting only. speaking of jetting, you might pull your hair out trying to get it right. here is a couple of hints. lose the snorkels in front of the airbox, and go with crazy large main jets. it will come alive!

hey have you done a write up on the fork conversion. what are they off of. i want to put some newer forks on my 1000 hurricane but have no idea on how much work it might be. what swingarm are you using, is that a brace or just the chaingaurd? sick lookin bike man.

The forks and calipers are from a 05 gsxr750. the triple clamps, marchesini wheel, and brembo 320mm rotors are from a 95 gsxr750. the 95 clamps have the same stem size as the f2. I replaced the bearings with tapered rollers. As far as the swingarm, it was made by NWS, a company in
England. And yes, it is a brace in wich the rear brake line is routed.
