Chain vs Center Stand
Was riding through taffic with a mate on wednesday and he said that every time I downshift, the chains hitting the centre stand.
Now I knew after I first got the bike that the chain sat fairly close to the center stand, but not this close;

Pushing the stand down a bit reveals where the chains worn the stand down. The chain itself appears to be undamaged by this but what do you guys think of it all?
The chain tensions fine btw, a touch slack but thats being picky.
I should really give the stand a wipe down.

I had this exact same thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Turned out my chain slack was too much. I tightened the slack and now theres about hlf an inch clearance to the centre stand.
But if it is like you say, that the slack is ok, then clearly there is something wrong with your centre stand. It could be bent, but my bet is that it simply some problem with the centre stand stop in the up position.Check the stop grommet on the right side of the center stand. Is the rubber grommet in place? Is it hitting where it should?

Good call.
I spied the rubber on the small mount underside of the exhaust. The center stand has the same setup below but no rubber and about 5m of clearance when its up. I think simply cutting some rubber to shape and zip tying it on should do the trick nicely.
