Default CBR F2 w/ 2005 hornet engine, carbs, harness

Hi allz,my name is Michael, i am from Bucharest Romania and i own a 91' cbr f2! For this winter i wanted to fit a Honda Hornet 2005 engine in it !
Here is the bike now:

This winter i want to:
-take it apart and powder coat the frame, swingarm, wheels and everything i can
-buy the missing fairings and paint everything blue (i wait for suggestions on what blue to paint it)
-make a 1000RR tail conversion
-loose the ugly f2 turn signals
-swap the engine with the hornet engine if is a direct swap (both bikes have PC25 blocks) , if is not a direct swap i am thinking about the 900RR engine, but i prefer to keep it in the 600 family
-HID projectors
-change the front end with a gsxr 750 or 600RR USD forks

(this is at least a 2-3 winters project because i am a student and the budget is tight)

If you have any suggestions or opinions , i am waiting for some replays ! Any ideea is wellcomed ! Thank you ! Ride safe !

PS: Sry for my bad english !

No worries about the english man, most of us int he US can't speak properly these days, lol.

Nice looking bike! The integration of the new upper fairing is unique!

drop down into the F2 forum and let us know how the progress is going on that Hornet motor. Fuel injection swap is a question several people have asked about, would be good to see someone documenting the process!

First of all , thank you for moving my thread Demon and sorry if my post was in the rong place!
Second:Adrenalnjunky... 05-06 Hornet has sa more complicated carb setup , its not fuel injected, 07 Hornet is fuel injected but i dont think the engine will be a bolt on ! I wanted to use 05-06 hornet engine because it has the same block and , in my head, the same mounting brackets ! I would love a fuel injected engine but i dont want to modify the frame, if i will modify the frame i want to put the 900 engine , make a wheelie mashine out of it XD not to put a 600 fuel injected. A 954 would be nice but i dont think it will fit without cutting out the frame !

Hi allz, long time i was absent here ! I am bringing good news, my front end finaly arrived to my workshop ! The donnor bike its an Aprilia. The forks are in very good condition, brembo calipers, brembo master cylinder , racing lines, steering dumper and aftermarket quick throttle ! Now i am looking for bearings here in Romania so i can put it on my bike ! I think it will be a clean swap, just some special bearings ! I have a not so good picture with the forks if you want to see ! Its very cold here so i dont know when i can start working , i cant heat up the garage ! Sry for my bad english !
