Broken down:(
Well the sun finally came out so I got all excited and brought my bike out. Started her up and was on my way. About 6 miles down the road I was going up a small hill and gave it some throtle, but instead of picking up speed and just puttered and died. My bro-in-law is certified mechanic for small engines/motorcycles and thinks it might just simply be bad spark plugs or clogged filter. He is going to work on it in the next few days so Ill keep my fingers crossed that its not the tranny or something big like that.
well aside from my bike running out of gas. I have had it out for the last couple of days and she runs like a champ, so fun to ride. the more I ride it the more I love it. Just seems like such an easy bike to ride. I hope the sun never goes away so I can keep riding it to work.
It happens to us all
I ran out of gas on the freeway, bike started to die...and I couldn't turn on the reserve switch..... because I was wearing a rainsuit that was too tight and I couldn't move my leg to reach the switch
Had to pull over on freeway, turned on switch and continued home [:@]

I thought my battery was too low to get a good spark and stuff going one time.. and that my bike was just messed up. Tried push starting several times to the point of exhaustion.. only to realize fuel was off... oh and one time I fired up the bike with the petcock in the off position, but there was enough fuel to get a few KM's from my house with a car full of my buddies behind me. I couldn't figure out why the hell my bike stalled at the stop sign until my stupidity was realized.. fuel was off.
It happens man.
