Default Brake pad problems

Hey everyone, so i've been taking a break on repairs and working a lot recently but about a week ago i noticed my front brake pads were dangerously low. So i jumped at the opportunity to change the pads and increase my sluggish braking. I went ahead and ordered the ebc double-h high performance pads, not quite racing compound if im not mistaken. So i got the pads and was ready to get them swapped out however, 3 of the 4 pad pins are rounded out in the top and damn near impossible to get out. I went and bought the prograbit extractor since i had heard great things about it, but just like my luck the bit broke in the top of the pin. I'm not sure how to go about this exactly, i have tried the larger hex wrench and also even looked to see if the sae set had a close option for me. Anyone have a similar problem or know of quick solution?

at this point your best bet is probably going to be drilling out the head and trying again with the extractor, you'll need to replace the pad pins, which is probably a good idea anyway

ya i was thinking that maybe the solution unfortunately. I was also contemplating getting a second set of calipers and kinda piecing the best parts together and have a second set on the side just in case.that is considering the pad pins are $10 each plus shipping or even more at the dealership.

I was just about to add that you might be able to buy a whole new set of used calipers for less than the pad pins new
