Bike is not breathing correctly
Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I have a 1992 Honda CBR F2 (600). Just yesterday I went up to my bike (it is parked on teh street) and before starting it noticed that someone had fully engaged the throttle, and apparently it had stuck like that. I started it and noticed that she was not breathing correctly. The problem eventually corrected itself after letting it sit for 10 minutes idling. I rode it to where I was going and by the time I left the problem had come back. I barely made it home (it died on me 3 times). The bike now struggles to stay started for more than 15 seconds. I knew this could be a few things, but I had a similar problem last year with my carb, but I don't want to pay to get it looked at. Does anyone know what I should do, think it may be a different part. Should I replace the carb? It was cleaned last year, and some needles were replaced. Any help would be wonderful.

RE: Bike is not breathing correctly
Thanks! I will check that ...
Today, after work I tried starting it again thinking the engine was flooded. It did not start. I actually tried so many times that I ran out the battery. I persisted though, and tried to manually run-start the bike, having someone else push me. I have done this several times successfully, but it would not turn over no matter how many times we tried it tonight. I'm starting to lean toward plugs.... thoughts anyone?

RE: Bike is not breathing correctly
I guess what I am tring to say is that when it was starting the other day instead of firing up and idling normally, it would shake a little. It sounded as if it was either not taking enough air in (intake), or not being able to release air quickly enough (exhaust), but I was also wondering if this could be a carb or spark plug issue as well.
