Pmb- Have you changed your cams? I do not know what BHP translates to WHP, seems low.

sorry, that's 93hp SAE at the wheel.

It's got UK spec cams, it did have CA spec cams before. The Dyno does read very low (Dynapro), as I said a standard bike (newly rebuilt) with a full system and race filter would make about 90 SAE hp on this dyno.

I do have some supersport cams, but dont want to loose my midrange at the moment.

Put 900 pistons & sleeves in it & call it a day... Makes a six-ninty something with the increased bore & same stroke as the F2/F3.

Wow, somethings wrong with those numbers if stock is 87WHP and with my mods I am at least above 93whp.

nope, it's a low reading dyno. They are very good, but give lower results than most.

Considering most 637's average around 108-113whp with tuning, that is low. I am not trying to insult you any 'PMB', but something isn't adding up.

I'm not offended, and now I re-read my reply, it's pretty blunt, sorry for that, I replied from my phone. These dyno's read very low compared to say dynojet or fuchs. On one of those I'd be making around 105hp. The Dyno guy didnt do the tuning so he has no reason to fudge the numbers (or my mind)

I'm back at the Dyno on Wednesday and it'll be much colder this time so we'll see, if i can i'll scan the printout and upload it. I don't really want much more than 95hp, because I'll need to start adding lead to the bike to make it heavier.

Also they mentioned something about cbr 900 pistons in the f2 engine for around almost 700cc's. With no overheating issues. Had to press out the sleeves bore is for bigger sleeves etc. Sounds like alot of money, work, etc when a newer 600 would be more reasonable and reliable. But an old f2 built to the max would be awesome.lol
