Any tips for F2 carb removal?
I'm trying to clean up the carbs, since my F2 has been sitting around unused for 4 years now....
As per the manual I've removed / loostened the:
1) throttle stop screw
2) throttle cables
3) choke cable
4)I've also loostened the LOWER clamps of the "carb insulator band" because the upper clamp screws seem impossible to get at. Should I have loostened the upper clamps?
I gave it a few solid tugs and didn't seem to get anywhere before I had to close up shop and go to work. Any tips/tricks or do I just need to quit being a sissy and pull harder?

It takes a pretty good yank to get the carbs off the head. Make sure the lower clamps are REALLY loose, and be prepared to put some force into it. It works best if you try and pull up on one side first, then the other side.
When you put them back on, make sure you get the boots seated properly on the head before you tighten up the clamps.
