Default 95 motor on a 93 chassi

Does anyone know if a 1995 cbr 600 motor fits a 1993 chassi with out any problems.
I don´t want to do alot of rewiring and all kinds of problems. If it doesn´t fit, with out
problemsI´m not going to do it.

Yes,it willbolt in with no problems whatsoever.

Yes,you can run it on your F2 harness and CDI.

Yes,it is the way to go.The F3 motor is that much of an improvement over the F2.No,it's not gonna give you R1 power, but it will shift easier/smoother and thesynchro ratios are closer together. You'll dig it .

that's awesome. You're so emphatic about it, I'd almost think you're selling F3 engines. ha.

I noticed that you'd done it. I'm hoping I won't ever need to attempt the swap, but it's nice to know it's a realatively simple option.

Does anyone know if the F3 oil pan will fit a F2 motor???

I'm picking up a 96 F3 motor minus the carbs for $100. I just need the oil pan off it but I don't know if it will fit and if notI may just throw it all in there

hi, I know I'm thread dredging here, but need some help.

I'm in the process of doing an f3 engine swap into an f2 frame. have f3 gauges and wiring loom that I would like to hook up too (I assumed I needed the loom to fit the gauges and speed sensor).

I have a couple of problems.
1) I am missing the speed sensor on the engine (have found one on ebay hopefully). Is there anything I can bolt over this just to get the engine going?
2) The f3 wiring loom seems to be missing two connectors in the rear taillight section? It is from a 98, is that why? do I need the two extra ones? I'm planning on taking apart my other f2 on the weekend to see what the missing ones do.
3) the water pump seems to have 4 outlets on it on the f3 compared to 2 on the f2, with one going radiator, two going to engine block and one ?to carbs?. posts on here talk about swapping teh f2 water pump cover, but what happens to the engine block one?

Help and/or photos would be much appreciated!!
