Sounds like fun Chris, Enjoy it lol.

I got the seat to mount a little bit flusher, doesnt sit exactly how i wanted it to but oh well, cant do anything about it. Not to self, melted plastic being thrown at you from dremel cut off wheel burns...especially when it gets in the eyes.

My ideal position would be like how it sits close to the gas tank, all the way down the upper rail, covering it. Sadly it wont do that. Heres a pic hopefully you can get an understanding of what im saying.

And heres a pic with the tank on. I dont plane on there being anything between the frame rails besides my license plate.

And then one of my triple, Just because. Again like i said, NOT the tank that i will be using. Have another one i need to paint still.

Also, Found out where i MIGHT be able hide the CDI/R/R. My battery is already taken care of, the battery will be hiding in the storage compartment of the monster seat. I will definatly need some ABS plastic, Im going to do a MS paint of where i might hide the electronics and see if i like the look.

I have all the ewie gooey nasty tape off from my wiring harness...and definatly dont want to stop cutting all these wires....but i have to.

Also last night i went ahead and ordered a tail light, and a wireless ignition, I still need to find a cheap gsxr R/R and order a sheet of ABS plastic.

Heres my half *** idea, put a piece of ABS plastic under the rail of the sub frame all the way down to under the gas tank, And mount the CDI and R/R under there, With another ABS cover on the side, Like this.

Hides the weird gap there as well, What do you guys think? Yes? no? Opinions, suggestions??

I thought about fiberglass too, But ABS is extremely cheap and easy to manipulate. I don't have much glass experience either, Thats why I want to go with ABS, But nothings set in stone yet.

Nah, don't use stone - would take forever to chisel and polish.

Did some more stuff, Mounted the radiator, plumbed it through my engine. stator cover re-done with new gasket goo. Grips on, bar ends on, clutch perch/lever/cable on, front brakes mounted, front brake master mounted for mock up, But needs to be painted.

On a side note, just won a GSXR R/R So hopefully i will get that soon as well. My remote ignition should be here Monday, Not sure on the tail light, Most likely end of next week or early the week after, Coming from hong kong.

Got my wireless ignition in today from the ups man

Filled the bike with oil, and so far no drippity drips (crosses fingers)

Messing with the wiring right now to see if i can get this wireless ignition to work for me

Hopefully i can get it to work, Get the headers on, and spray the carbs today. Then tomorrow i'll chop the wiring

Got the wiring connected enough to test everything, wired in the wireless on/off switch, And it works! Pretty good too, I can turn the ignition on/off from across my yard, Not sure why I'd really need to but its pretty cool

Heading over to radio shack to get some wire loom and connectors for my gsxr R/R when it comes in
