I know that feeling. I have been in the same boat for awhile now. Every time I get a leg up something else takes priority. We will get there... patience, which I need to learn, is what they tell me

Patience? I don't know this, what exactly is it? Is it a bike part?

Back on page 15 you removed the visor surround from your gauges. the odometer **** captures the visor to the gauge set. I'm doing the same and I tried to pry the odometer **** off and chickened out as it is made of plastic. How did you get yours off?

Shine a little flashlight in the middle of the tripmeter ****, and you'll find there is a real small screw that holds it to the shaft coming out of the actual gauge cluster - you'll need a really small screw driver (don't remember if it was flat or Philips), small, but not quite electronics screwdriver set small!

Thanx. I have a set of micro screwdrivers that should do the trick.

You'll get it... have you got some gauge issues?

No gauge issues. I'm modifying my f2 for fun. My plans are to swap front ends with a cbr 929 set of usd forks and to get an f4i swingarm to fit in place of the original. All mods to be reversable and keep the original stuff in case I don't like the end result. Don't expect to set the world on fire, just having fun.

Well, it sounds awesome, and I'd love to see your work on the swinger!

Have you already got the stuff coming in?
