Oh heck, there are lots of plenty competent folks on this forum, but yeah, I'll still be checking in plenty! I'll still be updating with work to the street F2, and I'm subscribed to a LOAD of threads in this section, too!

Congrats on the new machine! The F2 is a great bike, but it can only go so far, and I`m sure I speak for us all saying you`ve taken it there and then some further. Man if I`d have the cash I`d love to take the old racer off your hands to do track days of my own on it... Probly would set me back a pretty penny to get it shipped here though...
Been juggling with what to do to mine too for a while and have now decided to keep it and further refine it to my liking. Just ordered a chain oiler, gonna put 2" risers instead of the 1,5:s, gonna drop the engine next winter, measure everything, probly new piston rings and if money permits possibly 67mm forged Wiseco:s, hone or bore accordingly etc... pointers welcomed.

Exactly, Matti, there's only so far I can got with this bike, other than vintage racing... it's just time to move forward, for me.
If I were keeping it, a rebuild with the Wisecos of which you speak would be on my do list, 67mm would make it a 637cc, I believe.
There are some aftermarket cams out there, and there's also the common upgrade of putting the hotter F4i intake cams in the F2 intake spot, and swapping the F2 intake cam to the exhaust spot... obviously you would have to up your mains and raise your needles, and definitely go up a pilot jet size as well.

Yup, 67mm=637cc, there seems to have been a 619 and a 637 kits for sale of which the 619 I believe was a 66mm but that has seem to been discontinued as I`ve only found the 67mm kits and not a whole lot of those either. The pistons alone would cost 350eur plus all the boring and other machining work on top so it`ll be pretty expensive but IMO if I`m gonna tear up the engine to change the bearings and whatnot it would make sense to do all I can at the same time. Deffy a rejet will be needed if the displacement is going to be changed. Thanks for the cam tip, probly will do that as well if I can get the funding to do this.

^ I believe that was for me? Waaaaay out of my price range! Could probly just manage the wisecos and needed machining work, bearings etc. and a used f4i cam from some parted junker. Should probly slap the Daytona together before starting with this one. Basically would only need to finish the wiring, prep & paint and reassemble with fresh bearings. Not that big of a deal but I'm flat broke ATM so getting absolutely nothing done that requires money... gonna get pretty hefty tax returns at the beginning of december hoping to set a bit aside for the bikes...
