'93 F2 Mods - Phase 2
The 7-6-5-4 will look good. I never knew there was a difference in countersunk bits. It's actually pretty shocking. Although, I should have known, knowing about quality of tools and what not. I think it's going to look good and look forward to the finished product.
I finally got the rearsets finished - here's some pics of the progress...
Center-punch marks on the right-side piece:

Holes drilled on the right:

Countersinks done, and re-polished:

Divets on the left-side piece, for guiding the bit used for the initial holes:

Countersinks and re-polish finished on the left:

Left side reassembled and remounted:

I'll get better pics of both sides mounted - it was after dark when I finished up last night.
The holes are not absolutely perfect, with regards to their spacing, but you have to be looking for that to notice it - when mounted on the bike, you really don't see any imperfections at all, so I'm happy with how they turned out... once you're a couple of feet away, they look perfect!

Looks great! It's one thing to drill a perfectly straight line, but it's a whole another to do several in close proximity! Hats off.
I'm really impressed. Looks like something you would have had to pay good money for. The alcohol tip worked huh? Man I learn something new everyday. The bike looks beautiful. Excellent job as always
