Default 93 cbr 1000f wheels on 94 cbr f2 600

I have a parts bike that is a 93 cbr 1000 and I was wondering if anyone has ever swapped wheels from a 1000 to a 600. I measured my 94 cbr f2 and it seems the front wheel would be a direct swap and the back is where it gets tricky. Seems like the wheel is wider on the 1000 so youd have to take the whole swing arm. The 1000 also has dual rear brake lines. They are stacked one on top of the other so I was wondering if I could take the bolt and both banjos and mount it on the f2. That way if I had to swap the entire swing arm I would have to swap rear brakes with it. My reason for this is my parts bike has chrome rims and my f2 is custom painted blue and would look nice with chrome wheels.

I dont know for sure, but my guess would be NO. Are the axles the same size? Are the bearings the same diameter and thickness? Could you squeeze the 1000 swingarm into, what I'd assume the smaller F2 frame? Are the brake rotors have the proper spacing on the 1000 wheel compared to the 600 wheel. Are the rotors the same diameter? Me personally, I'd satin black the stock 600 wheels, that'd look better than chrome anyway. After all, its not a Harley now is it.

Well I've only ruffly measured and figured I'd ask to see if it had been done before. Or if someone had a little more knowledge of the specs before I disassemble them. From what I know so far is the rotors are different size, 1000 has dual brake lines. The 1000 rim is wider so I would have to swap swing arm. Just on a ruff measurement the swing arms seem to be the same width between the frame. The wheels on the f2 are black now just figured I had a nice set of chrome wheels setting might as well try and use them.

A few people put CBR 900rr rear wheel on the F2 & F3 but its not a direct bolt on, some machining required. I would assume a cbr 1000f rear wheel would require similar modification. But hey, who knows. Try it see what you could figure out, especially since I believe the 1000f wheel you have is 5.5 inches wide, which a lot of F2 & F3 guys want anyhow to run a 180 tire on a proper width rim. With quality 180 tires are easier to find than quality 160 tires.
