i just bought the repsol fairings off of ebay from a seller in hong kong. i bought it for 95 F3. MY QUESTION is will i encounter any problems installling the fairings. i heard itll bolt right but i dotn believe its that easy

 

There will be some fitment issues, but, nothing that someone with basic hand tool experience can't figure out. When you get them, post before and afters.

 

i will cuz my bike looks like crap my fairings are held on with zip ties and the plastic is cracked no windscreen and half a right fairng

i'm about to do the F4i conversion though, so, it's all good. ha ha.

 

pretty sure you will need the headlight and fairing stay for the f3

 

i was reading the post up under mine and he brought up a good point about ordering the fairings without the grab bar holes. be sure to do that b4 ordering those hong kong fairings. and while i was at it i bought sum mirror block offs and sum smoked flush mount l.e.d. turn signals. and im looking into getting the lips of my rims painted and powder coating my rear sets

 

i went ahead an ordered a f3 headlight and im gonna keep my f2 upper fairing stay. i;m going to write a how to thread on this body swap since so many people ask questions about it. hopefully this will work

 

the project is coming along . so far wheels are painted and the frame is painted. and all the parts are in. i had to order a f3 tailight cuz the f2's fits funny on the f3 body. and i ordered all new fastners from bike bolts. the repsol kit from hong kong is amazing. i migt have to do a bit of squeezing here or there but it fits fine. and tommorow im gonna have to fit the f3 upper fairings on te f2's and let yall know how it goes

 

 

if you want to do this swap u will need to use your front fender the f3 front fender will not fit up to the f3
