Existenz_is, that's not a bad idea. I read about it in a Swedish bike magazine a while back. This dude had rebuilt his dishwasher specifically to be an engine washer. You can see some pics (and the article in Swedish) here:

You know what, that`s not a bad idea at all... Some of my friends do removals and always get old dish washers and such on their hands, might wanna give them a call that once the next tabletop model comes across save it for me, I know enough swedish to understand roughly what the text says so I think I could duplicate, or make my own variation of, that thing.

That's just asking for trouble.

So he is reusing the water it seems? It comes from and goes back to that jug?
I can run a water hose to my garage, but was thinking of having the water from the washer go into large drum. But reusing the water for a while might not hurt.

I have the washer, but not sure If I want to bother running a 20amp breaker for it in the garage :P
But I would think it would work well enough, especially the heat cycle.
As long as sludge is removed first it should hold up for a while.

Just realized, there is already a 20amp breaker in the garage I can use.
It's currently feeding the old electric heater, which I won't be needing!
I think today's project is hooking up the dishwasher!!!

Not sure why. It's never an option under the postage and when I send emails to ask I either get no reply or no sorry, at best.
They will send to Aussie no worries but not to us kiwis 😱
Makes me want a later model but I love the F2’s plus I have another baby due in 2 days so wife's in "that mood" 😀 and a few extra grand on a bike would be suicidal on my part.

So I have my dishwasher hooked up in the garage cleaning parts right now.
I spliced into a large circuit not being used at the moment, picked up a fitting that allowed me to hook the water hose to the washer and I'm running the water outlet to the base of my shop vac for now.
I took before pics. Now I have to sit another 1.5 hours in the garage watching this thing to make sure it's safe.
Once it's done ill post up pics

Been in my freezing cold detached garage for like hours now.
Finally mostly kinda done.
End result:mixed.
Most of the parts I washed had been hand washed and scrubbed in a mop sink previously.
I need a stronger detergent. I used TSP, which is an old powder detergent used by painters now mostly. It works, and it doesnt foam up.
I mixed in some zep citrus degreaser at one point. It helps, but it foams up.
Need to buy some actual dish detergent and try it
Anyways, pics.

So, they ARE cleaner.
But not CLEAN.
Part of the problem is that I need a stronger cleaner.
The fact that I overloaded the dishwasher does not help
If the parts had been DIRTIER to start, then I think the results would be a bit more striking and effective.
So it's not badass, but it's still useful.
I don't have any cruddy parts readsy to clean at the moment, did them all by hand.
But this motor with the hole I picked up has some nasty covers and oil pan.
I'll try them in the washer sometime this week.

How many donor bikes does one man need! Great work so far, it's going to a cocktail of different parts by the time it's complete

I'm hoping to make enough from parting out two bikes to cover the tools, the F2, the maintenance, the fairing kit and everything else :P
Once I'm done with the F2, I might buy another parts bike once in a while, just to part out for $$ or for good aftermarket items.

On the oil cooler, when you take the cover off it has a gasket.
The one in the cooler I plan on using is cracked.
I don't know if I should buy a new one, or just use some "gasket maker" sealant.
I'm leaning towards sealant......
