919rr rear wheel swap
Hello, i want to swap rear 5.5inch wheel to F2 but cant find dwarlings with what need to be machining on sprokcet hub and rear brake carrier. If anyone can help will be good. Greatings!!
I got no idea what a 'dwarling' is??
But trying to put a 5.5 inch wheel on an F2 isn't a good idea.
From what I remember, the chain will hit the tire unless you put a skinny tire on the rim.
And if you do that, then what is the purpose of the swap anyway.
To do it right, you'd also have to widen the swingarm and find an offset front sprocket.
Good luck doing that on a 25 year old bike. Nobody makes any of that stuff any more.
Of course you could build it all yourself from scratch, but that's a lot of time, money and work and really isn't worth it.
If you really want a wider tire, sell the F2 and get something newer. They come with 5.5 in rims.
