I am looking for some tips or directions on how to do a 600rr tail conversion. I used the search tab and can only find all this talk of planning on doing it and gettitng it done over the winter, but no actual tips or directions. Can anyone help or has anyonedone this before.

And dont tell me to search the forum because I have all ready tried and did not find what i was looking for.

I have not read about anyone actually doing this. The newest tail that anyone has done is the F41 and that is the top of this section.

 

Try to contact Demented F3, He did the conversion and it came out great.

 

check out www.customfighters.com and search the forums, a couple guys have swapped tails, easiest way I saw was to notch the subrame and bend it up so it tucks into the RR tail nicely

trysearchng again i posted here about 3 years ago when i started my RR tail swap i never put any of the completed pics on here but it came out very nice looks totaly sweet....and it wasnt to hard

i cut a bout 4 in off of the rear sub frame made mounts for the seats and glassed the RR tail to modified f2 tail to fill in near the tank and underseat....it was actually pretty simple if you a little know how should not be a problem .....the whole ting maybe took 12 hrs.....i would send pics but im in iraq...hope this helps
