So got a couple parts in already, but have not started on anything cus I'm doing the conversion on my daily 94 F2, my first bike and my project bike. Pictures of my parts and progress will be up the middle of next week. Id say by wednesday the latest.

Considering this is my first bike/conversion as well as my Daily, im hoping to get it done in a timely manner and with as little amount of errors possible.

Im doing a 03 600rr tail conversion, as for parts, I have the tail, rear seat lock/latch and bracket(front and back) and the rear/passenger seat.

I cant find a driver seat that is in my price range or budget, so im planning on fabricating my banana seat to fit in the driver seat, on a temporary note, till i can find a good deal on a 03-04 600rr front seat. My only concern now is fabricating and finding the right material for the rear seat mount and brackets to make it ridable with a passenger, SAFELY!

any ideas and inputs would be great!

 

There is a member named dementedF3. He did the 600rr conversion and it came out great. Look for his pictures and try to contact him for tips. Good luck.

 

...and... just do a forum search - I've seen more theads on tail conversions and various other fairing conversions, than I could ever remember.
I'm betting if you just searched the forum for "tail conversion" you'd find quite a pile of stuff to check out.

JNS I've been up and down threads on this forum.. i'd say i have a very strong idea on what im going to do. Just wanted to get some input and outside perspectives on my build. thanks though
