I just bought a 1991 cbr 600f2 and I am in the process of repainting.
I was wondering about aftermarket parts and was looking for some good web sites to buy from.
It already has a full exhaust system, rejetted, and power commanderso I was looking for more cosmedic parts.
Any ideas would be great.

A power commander on an F2?

I recommend Targa pieces. Don't bother with Cheeta parts. Be sure to ask Ebay seller what brand the parts are before bidding. Good luck.

 

Ummm...yeah. F2's don't have power commanders... You don't have FI.

ok what I found out was the bike has a Vance & Hines Power Pak. Can anyone tell me what this does?
And I am getting the integrated taillight w/ blinkers and some side view mirrors with led blinkers.
last weekend I cut the blinker housings off the fairing and sheet metal/ fiberglassed over it so it looks flat. I finished sanding and the bike is all ready for painting, now I need tobuy some paint. I'm thinking of Samba Green (the bright greencolor of a hondadel sol).

 

Check on here there is a guy doing custom front fairing with wicked head lights I think its carbon fiber and looks bad ***. I wanted one for mine but upgraded to a 954. I think its illusion for his user name

 

yeah i just got an F2 as well and i'm going to be paintin it here pretty soon, and i think i'm gonna use ebay to get the paint (idk if you wanna do that but i hear its the cheapest way to go) and i'll prolly go semi-gloss black....

 

It is supposed to give you more power. However, unless your motor is heavily modified don't bother.
