Maverick where did you get those numbers for intake and exhaust clearances?

I am pretty sure it's 0.06-0.08 intake and 0.07-0.09 for the exhaust.

I am goint to get up and go to the garage and check the manual, you have me worried, I am set at 0.07 intake and 0.08 exhaust.

Let me know where you got your info!!!

I got it out of a "Clymer" service manual
600 hurricane 1987-1990

Sorry if the info is wrong, I would get a second opinion. But that is what my manual says.
