Does anyone know what the price of the hurricane/ cbr 600f was when new?

Better still, does anyone know where I might find out how much my benneton coloured 1990 FL would have cost when new in the UK?

I know new cbr600's today are around £7k. I would say that even with the passage of time they would have been something similar.

If you can point me to a web page or article somewhere that'd be really cool.
