synchronizing my carbs need help
ok i got my 88 cbr 600 running the other day. It was running fine with no stress on the motor in neutral. When i would hit around 7 too 8 grand it would cut right out. Like it wasn't getting enough fuel too supply it when it was near wide open . Is it the synch screws that arent right? Or could it be electrical? Im really dumbfounded right now.

help appreciated a.s.a.p. Lol i wanna ride it before winter hits and i live in northern new york. when we first got it running it was extremely doggy in the low end but would scream on the top. also doggy in mid range. Then my friend adjusted the psynch screws and the thing is all out of whack . I read in the manual that you need a carb synch tool . Mercury manometer?
does this measure the temp on each cylinders and if so how hot should they be running?

RE: synchronizing my carbs need help
ok I've got some new input on the bike. It's definitely not the carbs. Something electrical is making the bike die out at low and high rpm's now. My tach will jump, lights flicker, loss of power etc. etc. Ive repllaced the cdi, coils and wires, rectifier, is this a short somewhere? the stator was also replaced about 3 years ago when I first owned the bike. neone that's experienced the same problems please give me your input
