steering damper

Putting a damper on would only be a half *** attempt at covering up something that needs to fixed right.

Before you insult my competency and accuse me of “HALF *** FIXING A PROBLEM”, I have a matching tire combo, and bearings are good. I like to stunt the bike time to time and occasionally lean the bike through the S curves, so a little added stability is nice to have. Also, I am a huge fan of custom work, so when I have an opportunity do some customizing that will actually improve the bike, I’m all over it.
Didn’t the RR’s come stock with dampers? Maybe Honda is just half-*** covering up a mistake.
Next time try to cover all the bases before you pull out the “HALF ***” comment.
Here's a pic of mine from another thread.

I probably can't take any better pics today, there's a foot of snow on the ground. Anyway, I DO know that the "frame" side of the stabilizer was just fabbed and tacked on at a welding shop. The side under the tree I think is a piece that came with the stabilizer, and I bet you have to take the tree off or take the left fork apart to get it on there.

i was originally going to put a side mount damper (daytona steering damper, costs less than the hyperpro) on my bike but didn't want to cut my bodywork to get the clearance. i still have it and am going to use it for another bike project. if my bike was going to be a streetfighter, the daytona would be the way to go since it is easier to mountand wouldn't have to worry about steering and clip-on clearance. the daytona comes with everything. all that is needed is a hole drilled to mount the frame bracket. or in the case of Gogar, just have a tab welded.
