battery sounds shot. Rectifier could also be bad.

That is what I thought about the battery but what exactly is a rectifier and what does it do also if not a bother where is it located and is there other things that I should replace to tune it up. I just got it and am trying to tune it up as well as replace things that need to be replaced or upgraded but ride it at the same time.

its the voltage regulator, the bike world likes calling em rectifiers lol. And its located on the left side of the tail. You pretty much have to remove the tail fairing to get to it.

These bikes eat batteries... replace the battery and the problem will be solved.

Its one two or 3 of 3 things... stator, r/r, and/or battery
