So my cbr has been going sweet for a while now, had the valve clearences done and a m/cct fitted last week and shes been sweet.
Went to go for ride the other day and she just cranks and cranks but
no go . I had this happen once before and was at a wits end so took it to
the dealer who found someone had sprayed a antirust product all over the
battery connecters , they cleaned them all up fully charged the battery and she has been sweet ever sence, 2months ago. Hoping it was just a battery issue i put it on my optimate 3 over night and she cheacked out good , put it in same thing plenty of crank but no fire, i have droped it around the corner as we have a shop there so ill keep you posted , but its driving me nuts when ive gone over all wiring/fuses ex, may be the r/r this time? ive got it for sale to so hope shes not to much , love the old girl but i cant wait to sell her and my track bike so i can upgrade

 

The bike had spark and gas and still wouldn't fire up?

no spark looks to be the problem. plenty of gas, plugs near new , yes switch engaged . ive done a fair bit of riding lately without a problem so
its very thrustrating. its in a dealer now , will let you no next week.

 

What year is your bike? Could be bad engine start switch, bad ignition coil, bad spark unit, bad neutral switch, bad sidestand switch or a bad connector. These are all things that give power to the spark unit which isn't getting power or itself is bad.

 

its a 1990f1 not a f2 been all over connecters , all seem good .
