Rear shock
#2
Damping force and spring preload. Damping force has 3 adjustments, made by the dial at the bottom of the shock. Position 1 having the least damping and position 3 the most. You can adjust that with your finger. Spring preload requires a hook spanner wrench, which is in the tool kit. There are 7 adjustments. This compresses the spring more or less, depending on how you ride. Positions 1-3 are for a light load and smooth rode. Crank it up to positions 4-7 for a stiffer ride or heavier load. Suspension setup varies from person to person depending on your weight and riding style. There are good articles on just how it should be done. Have fun!
