Only some minor cosmetic upgrades. Hoping that the snow and ice will melt away from my ractrack somtimes soon.

Finally got the bike on a dyno today. Seemes like the motor is okay. 73.4hp on the wheel. Even though it's not a monster, for me it means that the engine is healthy, and will pull its weight until the new modified engine is ready.

Anyone run their bike on the dyno? Would like to hear what numbers similar bikes have gotten.

Out of curiosity, who did you get those front fairings from? I've seen some that are similar on ebay, but they're expensive and already finished. Yours look good enough that I'd like to just fab up something similar.

The front fairings are from ardracing.com. The quality is okay for racing. Not perfectly straight everywhere, but that is not important.

Front fairings are CBR600 F3 by the way. The reason for going for the F3 is that it has a built in drip tray. Nne of the F1 and F2 race fairings have drip trays.

Repositioned the exhaust can. Not much, but I think it will give me the ground clearance I need. I also added some preload on the rear shock to get even more height in the rear. Unfortunately i only managed to add 1cm (about 1/2") before the shock topped out. That means no sag, but as the spring is kind of soft, I think it will be okay. I will run the bike this way at the practice session this week, and then we will see. If I need to add more height in the rear, a new mount for the shock has to be fabricated.

What is your front wheel off of? An F2?

Looks pretty slick! Seems like a fun bike to take out and track. 73rwhp though huh... I'd expect more, but if you just slapped an exhaust on and left the carbs stock that may explain it. Do you have a chart of your HP in combination with air/fuel ratio?

Yes, the whole front end is from a F2. I believe both the front end and the ohlins rear shock is from the same F2 that won the Norwegian supersport championship in 93-94.

I will scan the air/fuel and post it here later. Not sure if I get the time before the weekend though.
When studying the air/fuel, it seemes quite reasonable. Around 13-14:1 through the whole range.
