Clean it up, make sure it's safe, and ride it. You might love it. If you think it's slow, spend $100 on an ignition advance and a 14 tooth front sprocket, and ride it some more. It's a nice bike.
edit: also, make sure you find out what kind of sprocket/chain, and carb mods you may have on there. Looks like your friend might have done a few things to it. And, it's got the solo fairing, which is great.

Thanks for the kind words guys^^^ yeah when I was really going checking the bike over it just on the out side and taking the to side panels off and it soooo clean and nothing is missing. The only line I see that’s dry rotted so far is a coolant line. Regardless I am going to go though it with a fine tooth comb and ride it. Thanks for the tips Gogar! Yeah I was not sure if it was all stock or had a few things done to it. Really I just want to make sure its safe and get it running and want to get used to the bike then I no I will mod it.
