Default Part #'s

I am needing to replace the rear cush drive bearing, and presumably the oil seal as well. The fiche tells me its items 19 and 22, but I get tonnes of diff part #'s for each. I am not ordering thru partzilla/ron ayers because the canadian shipping is absurd. Other places to get them cheaper if you have the part#. How do you find out what is correct?

Default Head scratching trying to find cheap parts?

Hi bro

I've been at this stage with parts before for the bike. You keep looking and looking on the net: which one is right? will I waste my money if it's not the right one etc etc.

What I've found is that a local bike shop where they know what they are talking about can take out all the hassle. Like when I needed the exhaust header to muffler gasket: I paid the same as the lowest ebay price and saved on postage. Plus I got a good quality part from someone who knew what he was doing. Hopefully you can find somewhere like that near you. You could take in your old part to compare to their stock too!

Having said that: I can't see why any of the oil seals on your list wouldn't work. There are only 3 part numbers on the list for the oil seal really as they duplicate on the list. 2 are ARAI and the other NOK. The NOK part is given on Lingshonda.com (they have their own part no tho for it and are x4 the price) so I'd go with that one. I mean I'd go with the NOK part for the oil seal on your list.

Sorry for such a long reply but I know what you're going thru. Hope you get the right stuff buddy. Take care man

Thanks. Problem is, the shops in town are pretty much useless. They just pull up the same fiches and will pick one by random, then charge a 100% markup on it. I'm just going to get one and hope it fits!

Honda Motorcycle Parts, ATV, PWC Lowest Price Guarantee is what I usually use for ordering parts, and they have neat little picture diagrams of what you are working on. They ship local to my dealer but you could def use them for reference.

Thanks guys. I went with the part numbers I found online to the local shop. Got the bearing and seal for $30. Not bad considering all the places I looked at here +30$ or so shipping.
