RE: Oil Cooler/Radiator
im fightering mine out as well, the only sensible place i can find to mount it behind the forks is at the bottom of the radiator, flush against it. itll take a little fab work, just unbolting the two bolts at bottom of radiator and making a small bracket to connect the two holes in the factory oil cooler. ill let you know how mine works. i would think behind the headers would sort of defeat the purpose of cooling the oil with all the heat there. its def a shame we have the biggest ugliest radiators huh? if youre looking for something diff, maybe side mount like a vtr1000/rc51. good luck

RE: Oil Cooler/Radiator
If you put the oilcooler under the radiator you have to make sure its really tight to the radiator because if you place it to far down it will smashed on the front wheel when you hit the brakes. check out my fix at http://www.onionRacing.tk
go to the subsite that says: projektdagboken sorry but the page is in swedish but there are some pictures of my bike there atleast.
good luck with the build

RE: Oil Cooler/Radiator
Before I crashed and broke the radiator, I had zip tied the oil cooler to the bottom of the radiato without any problems. I've ordered a radiator from a quad. It's smaller than the Hurricane radiator, and I should be able to mount it up somehow. Without all the plastic shielding the engine, I'm not too worried about excess heat.
