Oil Cooler

Oil Cooler
Does anyone know where I can get the fittings for the oil cooler? I don't need the stock hose setup because I have rerouted the oil cooler and have it connected off of the radiator since I'm not putting any of the front supports or plastics back on it. I need to get a hold of the fittings that connect to the oil cooler so I can have some custom hoses made, since the stock ones are too long.

If you have a pic of where you mounted it I would like to see it.
As for your original question - I am not sure it the fittings are custom but is it possible to cut them and splice them back together?
I think I have some used lines in my garage so I will take a look and see if I can answer my own questions.

I found my spare lines tonight. The id of the line is 3/8" (10mm) od is 3/4" (20mm).
The fittings look custom to me but I don't know much about that so maybe they are available. They have an o-ring seal and the fittings are swaged onto the lines.
The lines have no reinforcement other than the outer fabric braid.
I can't see why a person couldn't just cut the line where it won't show (under the motor?) and splice it together using a piece of copper pipe with an od of 3/8ths and clamp it on either end of the tube.
I sure if you take the fitting to a machine or plumbing shop they can tell you if it is a regular fitting or something "unavailable"
