Does you sticker say 91 RON? I wouldn't think that an F1 would have a high enough compression ratio to need 91 octane, but maybe it does...

i can see it on my computer.. Well any ways i use 91 Octane to avoid knocks and Ping. I put 87 last time burnt number 2 exhaust valve.. Now Got it to run bought a Used 87 cylinder head to my 89 F1 and honned all the cylinder sleeve and Standard piston rings.. I am still breaking in the Rings right now.. Awesome motor now solid no more blue smoke i just need more mileage to the motor now..

 

 

It does say 91 RON. That's 87 in the US.
