hey i recently bought a 88cane and after a while of riding it the rear sprocket started to break teeth off so I bought a set of new sprockets (sprocket specialists)and a chain(tsubaki) and had my mechanic put them on he told me that my swing arm is bad and should be replaced because of the bike being droped before I got it is there any aftermarket swing arms or do I need to get an oem one?

2nd when it rains or when I ride in the rain she bogs down and sputters, my airbox has been drilled and I have a k&n if that makes any kind of a difference what could be causing this?

3rd any recomendations for full exhasts (my header is dented)? and any recomendations for new seats or covers (mine is riping)?

 

1. did the mechanic state why the swingarm was bad? is it dented? offset? what? there is no aftermarket swingarm, only oem.

2. is there water reaching the air filter or airbox?

3a. full exhaust? not so much. mostly slipons.
3b. take seat to automotive upholsterer. or buy auto upholstry kit from auto store or use marine vinyl since it stands up to outdoor use much better.

2.yeah id believe so, but my dad had a Harley with a hyper charger on the side of the engine facing forward almost like a scoop and it never did it
