Default New 1989 f1 owner.. need parts

Hi,
Here's my story of how I am now an owner of one of these bikes. I normally custom build Yamaha XS triples.. see my newest here http://www.garagenyc.homestead.com/bike1.html
I met the guy at a friend's party who had a 1989 Hurricane sitting IN his apartment (right in his bedroom!!), untouched for the past 12 years. All I had to do was to pick it up and it was mine. I have a shop here in NYC, so I figured at worst I could use it for parts for one of my choppers. He said he last ran it, almost got hit by a car and didn't know what to do with it since. I pick it up, (came with a title!) and put it on the lift for a look over. Everything seemes in order -cleaned out the carbs, changed the fluids. Thebike was indoors all that time, so really nothing wrong weatherwise. Only 6,000 miles and everything looks solid.. Hooked up the charger (no battery) and she fired right up! So, looks like a cool find and runs great. I've decided to keep her in tact (rather than part out)and now make the bike look nice.
Being into customizing, I need some help with direction. What can be done or has been done to these bikes?? I can weld and do all custom paint work myself...
The bike didn't have a few things, actually anything cosmetic is NOT on the bike... NO fairings AT ALL except the front and rear fenders. The upper cowl is cracked to hell and will need to be replaced as I believe he used it as a coat rack or a seat at a party.... NO Gas tank, petcock, cap, or fuel pump. (just got a tank on ebay)

Can anyone help with below? I have paypal, cash, check. etc...or if you don't have the parts, if you can point me where to get it that would be great. I've been all over ebay and I'm looking for better or cheaper places.. I'm hoping to get this bike all done before it gets warm so I can ride it a bit. Who knows, mayewith some help on what can be done I'llmake a really cool show-worthy custom.

WHAT I NEED:
1 carbslow jet #35 (used is fine if it isn't clogged) REALLY NEED THIS ASAP!!!
Upper cowl fairing (maybe a complete headlight fairing that someone knows that would fit this bike with a little modding.)
Gas Tank Cap
ALL FAIRINGS sides, rear, etc..(could be aftermarket or scraped)
Air Filter
Battery
Tires
Mirrors
Windshield

Thanks,
-rickybongos

For most of those parts check out Oldbikebarn.com, they have the jets you need, as for fairings, check out Airtech streamlining, http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/...00F1198790.htm

I've got a windshield that is fully intact, but it's been spray painted white and has alot of scratches on it. I can take pics if you want. Its pretty ugly, though.

Battery, air filter, and tires you'll probably want to buy new. Plastics can be found in various conditions on ebay.

Thanks guys. Is thare any mods that anyone knows for this bike? Maybe to give it an updated look? Also, any parts that would interchange with other bikes?? This bike seems to be hard to find parts for...

I've been unting for the same things. F4i passenger pegs fit, but you lose the side markers and helmet holder, but losing that big *** fram for all that crap is worth it in my opinion. I was doing some research (check previous posts) and it may be possible to wire in an f4i digital cluster which I may attempt if the price is right i guess (just have to compare f3 wiring to f1 wiring and go from there as the mod instructions I found were for an f4i cluster to an f3)

I could be wrong, but I think that the Fi speedo is cable driven, while the F3 is electronic.
