handles fine with battlaxes on it, it has had the front forks rebuilt with new oil and a new rear shock its very flicky and wheelies no problem all in all im fairly happy with it, like most of my projects is always getting something done or changed lol half the fun for me to tinker about with it

Dave,

Did you put bar standoffs on the stock triple trees? I like that idea for my number 3 bike.

yes mate got the billet off set ones from ebay about £30 dead easy to fit what i done was clamped them to the bars the offered them up to the top triple measured and marked them off so they were sitting even then you smear grease on the clamps and put them back on the marks you made once you remove them you can see the image of the hole you need to drill centre punch it and wipe of the grease simple as that

How does it feel to ride? I'd like to try a more upright position which this would give me.

A direct bolt on for a large pullback and rise is the VFR clip ons from the same decade. I have them on my bike, they are nice. I can't remember the exact change but it is like 3" rise and 2" pullback, or close.

It's a tail off of a Ducati 996
