Default My 87 Hurricane

hey guys! threw some pics up in the noob section as well, bought my 87 'cane about a year ago, traded it for my motocross bike. best trade i ever made. it was full fairing when i got it, but due to previous owners neglect it was in rough shape, so after a couple mishaps with the bike shedding plastic i rat rodded it. got sick of it, decided to do a full fighter build. i like where its going.

the brake lines, jet kit, stainless hindle system and (according to p.o.) a full port and polish was on the bike before i got it. the front lines are a little frayed, the blue plastic covering is in rough shape, i should have some new lines coming for it soon though when i ordered them i asked for 6 inches extended because at the time i was going to do risers and MX bars. so i may have to just deal with the extra length, since i dont know if i will do mx bars on this bike or not.

Interesting. Definitely something I have not seen done to a cane before. Keep us posted.

thanks man! the turn signals are mirror lights, just cheapos. the tail light is a salvaged 600rr taillight, it was mounted under the back of the stock seat when it was still rat-bike, and it got slightly burned during the welding so i cut out the LED's and put them inside the seat mount housing. im cutting it all out to facilitate the cbr600rr integrated taillight. the cheapass rear signals are too dark during the day, not visible enough for my liking.
