you can hang with the newer 600's JUST FINE on the Hurricane, just upgrade your tires and suspension, and stay in the twisties, where bikes are supposed to be. straight line sucks and isnt what a sportbike is built to do.
what you need to do, is improve your riding skills more and you will then become a better rider. trackday trackday trackday. you'll find in the twisties then that you'll be able to hang with ANYTHING, from the 250's to the 1000's.
