HAHA yea, suzuki seems to be the new harley D. Nah, people everywhere are like that, some people take it a little too far though. The only thing i Like about the GSX-R's is the 750 as well as the performance level switch. However, Im an avid Honda fan as well. I mean look at ALL early sport bikes......I find they all looked retarded except for the Hurricane.

alot do tho....i had a 600R ninja....an 88 and i find the 'cane looks WAY better

my old 1100 katana wasnt bad looking, just when i owned it, i wasnt mature enough for it yet, probably be in a bodybag if i had kept it

yea youre right, not all gixxer owners are jerks, i had a guy with a 90's gsx-r 750 compliment the hell out of my cane.....but she just does that to people

hahah must admit tho, nothing both funny/sadder than seeing a first time rider going out and buying a 1000 gixxer just cause their friends busted their stones about wanting to start on a 600, keeps insurance claim adjusters employed, doctors too....

ahhhhh so true, well i cheated em out of a job today

on a 2 lane road, headin home, merges to one lane, idiot kid in a vw hatchback decides he's in a bigger hurry than me, well quick little downshift and a quick rip through 3rd gears power band i proved him wrong , then just as quick, dropped back down to the speed limit, i could see him in the mirrors freakin out cause he though he was a street racer ...or speed limits are for losers or something, so he starts riding my ***, flashin his brights so another whack of the wrist, forgotten again

jeez maybe someone shoulda told him, just cause sportbikes and your lil ricer car are both fours, doesnt mean you can keep up with something like 1/3 of your weight, not to mention where is a lil cool, and had rained earlier, (roads mostly dry thankfully) so ofcourse the good old "cane was lovein the cool damp air and runnin fast and clean.....Love that Volmetric efficiency =) im sure the fresh 93oct i just put in like 1/2 hour ago didnt hurt either

Now, see, I had quite the opposite experience today. I almost smacked the old girl into the back of a pick-up truck that was stopped on a 2-lane, farm-to-market road. I was cruising along at 65, I was thinking "Man, my focus is off today." It really was off! Gotta love how quickly a bike can stop though.

well glad ya saved it, but maybe consider goin a little slower knowin its gonna merge?

im not one to preach safety, or "defensive driving" as usually my defense is the throttle, but being ready to save your baby will be worth it, all it takes is smackin on the brake just A LITTLE too hard then she low sides and blam, youre both hurt

if not that, think about what i do....."these F*ckin plastics are expensive and hard to find"

thats why i take a beating of insults from the stupid little skateboard kids that make fun of me when i wont do wheelies for em

and i should maybe clarify my story above there.....i didnt do that to show off.....or be first, the dumb Sob in the VW was gonna shove me right into a high sidewalk.....someone right on his tail so no room to back off.....it was get ahead or kill my hurricane.....well maybe not kill it, but woulda hurt her really bad, and like i said....new plastics for these arent easy to find....or cheap

I wish that was all that it was. It was my being stupid and not paying attention.

Yeah, I decided many years ago that chains, sprockets, shocks, and body work was much to expensive just to show-off.

ok, fair enough, it happens to all of us, i didnt mean to come off preachy or anything, i think its just all the car drivers trying to beat it into my head. i dont know what it is about the majority of car drivers that feel they are superior, yet couldnt drive their way out of a cardboard box with gps and mapquest ( i know, not all 4 wheeled motorists are bad....just like 95%)

go figure....reminds me of that super cheesy biker movie torque when the guy asks the street racers "what is it about drivin cars that makes you all such *ssholes?"

in general? thats a good question.....ofcourse theres always exceptions to every rule
