Just got a '87 hurricane, new project! need help!
i just got an 87 600 hurricane, and i need ideas. im going to turn it into a streetfighter, thinking about making it all flat black, but mounting the headlight and what to to with the tail is slowing me down. i have some plastic but its probably better off in the trash. also, is there anything that i have to do with the wiring to better protect it now that the plastic is off? it runs great but the front forks are reallllly soft, i think the fluid is completely gone, the seal is obviously leaking. any ideas would help. thanks a lot!

^ i agree. first thing first, fork seals and fork oil. ss braided lines, look cool, makes the brakes feel more firm. for your wiring, shrink wrap stuff for more protection, dont want bare wires. as for your tail, you could get any tail section to fit, thats the fun part of streetfightering, do what you want. make it unique, make it standout. also, there are a ton of different aftermarket lighting solutions, look on ebay, google it, whatever.
oh yeah, btw, flat black is the most used color for streetfighters, haha, try to think of a cool color to spray it, all you got to paint is a tank and tail anyways lol. just some input from another fighter guy...
