Just dont get it
they are wet i wouldnt say soaking wet but most definitely wet and black i will get some pics gotta dig for the camera
and goin over all of my wiring there is one yellow and black wire that i do not know where it goes. Its located up by the instrument cluster i looked in my ,manual and it seems to be the kickstand wire but cant find where it would plug into. I will get a pic of that as well.
Is there a way to by pass the kickstand switch?

It is tied in to the CDI so that when the stand is down the bike WILL NOT start unless you are in neutral ( and the neutral switch works!) You can bypass the kickstand switch by placing a jumper between the Green/white and green wire at the 3 pin connector under the gas tank.
Yes it is a 90 Bike and i swapped the Engine of a 89 and i swapped the pulse generator and the sprocket from the 90 to the 89. Cuz i have the 90 CDI and 90 wire harness.
That yellow/black wire should plug in to it's own single connector somewhere up by the fuse panel ( I'm guessing ) and lights up the side stand indicator on your tach if the kick stand is down. One note... if your kick stand switch is not working properly then the bike will not start unless the bike is in neutral.

WOOHOO!!! Got her running!
Found a wire harness cdi and new coils for 30 bucks from a guy on craigslist. I swapped everything out and now she fires up and then dies. I know its the carburetor. once i spray some gas into the carbs she winds up. So im not getting enough gas.

No they were from a 90... im pretty sure it was something wrong with the harness or the coils. i put on the other cdi and it works fine.
Congrats! Now just trace the gas from the tank to the carbs. Make sure the petcock is working. You can take the petcock out and there's a screen filter in there you can clean out. While you're at it, get some 3/8" (or 9.5mm) fuel line at the auto parts and redo the fuel lines. get a fuel filter. Also, you should be able to feel the fuel pump go "thump, thump thump" if you put your hand on it and push the starter button.
Last (maybe first, actually), make sure your carbs are spotlessly clean. take out the pilot jets and the main jet holders and clean out those teeny tiny little holes, 8 holes in the pilot jet and 10 in the main jet holder.
Sorry If I said something you already know, just thinking out loud.

Everything is running great on the bike!
Maybe a little adjustment on the carbs but whateva
But i was still wondering what the exact problem was why it wouldnt start before the new wire harness and cdi. So i put the old cdi on and the bike worked so i examined the wire harness and it looks like the the whole time it was from the ignition coil wiring. Since i got the bike and it was already wired i just assumed it was wired correctly( will never make that mistake again) the ignition coils were wired backwards.
But with all of your help i also fixed a few other things that would have made the bike not start like the pulse generator.
Thanks everyone for your help!
