hurricane vin sequence information?
While trying to figure out an electrical problem I started looking at the id tag on my bike the other day and the sequential numbers at the end of the vin caught my eye. I was just wondering if anyone on here knows about hondas vin system. I am into old mopars and know that some old mopar sequential numbers start with a 1. For example a 1970 challenger that I know has a sequential of 100012. It was the 12th challenger ever built, it was the 3rd challenger R/T ever built, a blue 383 automatic car. It is now a crapily built drag car which makes me sick. My question is how did honda do the sequential numbers on the hurricane? Mine was built in december of 86 and seems to have a early sequence number but i dont know if maybe honda did something strange with their sequence numbers?
87 600's from the us should be in this range for the frame PC190 HM000014 to 008281 on the engine it should be PC19E 2000032 to 2019534
If you have a california model it will be PC191 HM000002 to 2012950 on the frame, for the engine it will be PC19E 2000033 to 2019020
