how much?
All right so tomorrow i am planning on buying a honda cbr 600f1.
He is asking 1500 or best offer.
I was looking online and people are saying that its a good price and then some people are saying that they wouldn't pay for 1200 for it.
Has 18 k miles on it and he said i would have to clean out the carbs.
I heard that its not to hard to clean out the carbs and i'm pretty good a figuring things out most of the time
Let me know what you think.
any response will be nice.

At $1500, you're doing ok, but you're not getting a great deal. $1250 would be better.
Cleaning out the carbs is not too hard, but it does take some time. Also, if you need to replace any carb parts (jets, floats, seals, etc.) you could spend up to a couple of hundred bucks making them just right.
IMO 2/3 of making these bikes run great is making sure the carbs are spotless inside.

well i look it up on motorcycle blue book .com
and it said retail it would sell for about 600.
but then kelley blue book said it would sell for 1700 if it was perfect. Such as no problems with it and its new.
so...i think i'm gonna start with 800 and then go up from there.
