Default Help My Carburator leaks, Hurricane

I need to clean my carbs and they spills fuel from one chamber gasket so i unmounted it and now i don't find the gaskets news i live on Tijuana Mexico no many moto parts here and eBay don't have it.

I wonder if anyone's knows other thing to put instead of gasket!

This one spills fuel, looks like have J-B weld before!!

one thing I DO know is dont try RTV sealer. I learned the hard way once. doesnt work for anything with gasoline.

i think it depends on the type. there should be some trv type thats fuel resistant

or you could order a gasket kit from roynayers, its like 20$ per carb for the kit but it should come with all the gaskets and rings.

Hi Fellas I put the gaskets but when i conect the fuel hose spills to much gas from The part i show on the picture below. What are those? can i cancelled ?

Those are the float bowl over flows. You have a float or floats that is sticking or not adjusted right. Remove all float bowls and make sure floats all move freely. Make sure they are set to the specified height in the manual. You might also submerge the float in gas and make sure it doesn't have a hole in it. Probably just not adjusted right though
It could also be a worn needle and seat. The float connects to the needle, and the seat is the fuel inlet to float bowl.

An option on the float bowl gaskets is to get an assorted O ring set from Harbor Freight or somewhere similar and use those as your gasket. Someone posted on here the the size ring they used so with some searching you could probably find the exact size you will need. They tacked the o rings in place with some super glue if I remember correctly. Just be sure that you are getting rings that hold up to gasoline. Save a some bucks and have o rings for future projects.
